What are some tropical, evergreen flowering trees that do not get big?

Looking for some tropical, evergreen trees that bloom bright or pretty colored flowers and that stay fairly small (no more than 12-15 feet high) to plant along a block wall!

I live in Zone 9 so we have extreme heat and some cold.

Feijoa is a small tree a bit bushy nice red flowers and delicious fruit---can be used as a hedge but only grows to about 8 feet originates from South America but adapts to different climates. We also have a Guava (originates Haiti) ours has yellow fruit which is very highly scented. The Guava is a very decorative tree with smooth mottled bark and has large white flowers. The large yellow fruit are highly visible. Ours is about 12 feet. Our climate is hot with some cold also (south Australia)
