I feel like a wussy.....?

Okay here is my deal. I live in a college dorm with a roomate. She is the very girly, arsty type and I am downright normal. OUR room looked like a jail cell, so eventually she nagged me enough to get decorations ( like posters and stuff). She herself got posters and things. I bought a synthetic "flower rope" that is about the length of a wall.


what I dont understand is how it got to her side of the room.I've had the flower rope since december, and some how it always ends up augumenting her side of the room. It is beginning to get on my nerves because my mom and I bought it with the intention that it would make th room look better for BOTH of us..not just her side of the room!


I admit I'm alittle too lazy to actually be decorative , and she has a flare for this stuff, and yes I shold talk to her , but common! This is just really annoying. Am I just jealous?


Do you think it is possible to actually share stuff in a dorm room ?

Well as long as you get the flower rope at the end of the year don't let it bother you....It's your room. When i say your i am including you and your roommate. Just cause it's on her side it should mean anything....My room likes his area to look like a jail cell my side has loads of posters all over it. Yeah it makes my side of the room look great but it also make the whole room look better....If it's that much of a problem and bothers you alot talk to her. But if you take it back from her you need to put it up on your side.





I personally see this as a useless discussion as long as you get the rope back at the end of the year.





I share stuff constantly with my roommate I have about 8 black lights and there are like 3 on "his side" of the room, as well as a few of my posters. Last year I lent him part of my absolute ad collection.
Reply:Just cool down. Sharing can be really hard. If she does this too much that it gets annoying, you can call her and talk to her one day and tell her about the problems that you have with her. I hope it helps. Good luck.
Reply:One night when she isn't there you should move ALL of her decorations to your side. Then when she comes home just play it off like nothing is out of the norm.
