What color should I do my walls?

So I’ve recently decided to redo my room. All my furniture it going to be white, and I have three main colors – purple, blue, and lime green. I have a comforter, wall flowers/butterflies, shams, and other supplies already picked out. But I’m don’t know what to do with my walls. My room isn’t the biggest and slanted walls/ceilings so I don’t want it to fill too claustrophobic by making it all one bright color. I’m going to put a lot on the walls so I don’t want them too complex. Does anyone have idea what I should do?

What color should I do my walls?
Chelsea...my friend....RUN AWAY from all those answers lol...wow.

Lets begin our lesson today with the letters C, I, B, F, S, and R...

CONTRAST IS BAD FOR SMALL ROOMS

Don%26#039;t go getting yourself one light shade and a bold color. You%26#039;ll end up with a small room that looks even smaller. The lime is ok, my sister went through that phase, and her bedroom is all lime green. It doesn%26#039;t look THAT bad...but she likes the color, i don%26#039;t.

Use the blues and purples...but use LIGHT versions of them. You can mix the colors up on the walls if you want, but don%26#039;t go throwing the green in with the blues/purples. It just isn%26#039;t going to work.
Reply:lime green, don%26#039;t be afraid of color. if you hate it you can always repaint
Reply:Do a pale blue of any kind (purpleish or greenish). Blue tends to recede to the eye, so your room will feel a bit bigger. It is also a calming color and since you have a lot of colors going on and with a lot of stuff on the walls, it should make a nice backdrop for it all without competing for attention.

Hint for choosing the blue: go to a paint store and pick one you like... then go two or three shades lighter. The impact of the color will be much stronger once you have it all over your walls.
Reply:Decide on either purple, blue or lime green as your main color and get two shades of paint in it. One that is a bolder color (more intense) and a very pale shade of the same color, paint the walls the bolder shade and the ceiling the pale shade to make the transition and the angle not so noticiable. I would pick the color that was the background or more dominant shade in the comforter and use the other two colors as accents as to make the room flow a little more. Good luck and post some pics when you are done.
Reply:you could do one wall in lime green with the rest in a White with green yellow tint this would cause a nice light reflection in the walls as the lime green would bounce make a nice tinted look. Satin paint maybe... I like the slight shine to satin paints. Flat in a small space may give a gloomy feel..

Perhaps on the wall your head is on so as to not make it feel claustrophobic
Reply:i would say a faint looking violet or a faded blue would help to open the room up. Or you could just do one wall a bold color if you have a fireplace say u want it to open up i would do the wall right in front of the fireplace in a bold color. There is a show on tv called Color Splash and u really learn alot about color it%26#039;s on hgtv
Reply:Sherwin williams has a color called %26quot;origami white.%26quot; It%26#039;s not a bright white, but more of a light gray-beige. I think this would give your room a nice warm character %26amp; your other colors will really stand out. Check it out:

Reply:Paint it a light color, because dark colors can make a small room feel smaller. You might want to consider doing an accent wall! For instance, paint all of your walls a very light shade of green, then on one wall (if one of them is bigger, or doesn%26#039;t have the slants on it-more of a blank canvas) paint a darker shade of the same color. That%26#039;s a fun way to add color without being too much.
