Mostly hoaxes, I think, and others with scientific explanation. Hindus are among the most superstitious people in the world, so they are very reluctant to question anything. If I just made up a story, most people would believe it -- consider also that most Indians are un- or under-educated. I believe in miracles, but isn%26#039;t it just a little bit strange that so many of these %26quot;miracles%26quot; happen in India, a relatively superstitous country, and not, say the U.S.? And it happens often in rural areas where people are even more under-educated. People see what they want to see and believe what they want to believe.
