10 points for answers from mature woman?

Women have you ever had a successful relationship...when you actively initially pusued the man??

could you tell me about it??? how did you pursue him?

I mean people say men have to lead but we are in 2007 right women equal opportunities so surely there have been some cases where the woman has chased the man and it has worked can still be in the victorian era where woman were wall flowers till a man approached?

10 points for answers from mature woman?
My husband and I met on Yahoo Personals 2 years ago. I made the first move by sending him a message, after pondering his profile for a couple weeks. He had seen mine too, but was too shy to message me. (He says he thought I would be out of his league.) After several emails, I mentioned I was off this Thursday--so he suggested dinner. Well, that was the best first date ever. We talked and ate at Applebee%26#039;s from 7 until they closed at 12:30!! We met in Nov, he proposed in Jan, we married in Apr. Whirlwind!

My point is this. I think women can and should pursue some. It helped my shy guy break the ice. However, we should give just enough of a nudge to let him know we%26#039;re open to dating him, then let him think he%26#039;s doing the pursuing. ;)
Reply:Well I wasn%26#039;t afraid of letting him know how I felt about him. I just made him feel loved and cared about like for instance, compliment him or go places with him and have fun. Then I told him I loved him on valentines day. Yeah I was the first one. To be successful you have to be honest and not let him play the guessing game. And so far we are eachother%26#039;s life, love, and best friend! Good luck.
Reply:I%26#039;m a young lady. I NEVER pursued a man and NEVER WILL. Although we%26#039;re in 2007, a MAN is still a MAN, and a WOMAN is still a WOMAN;) no switching roles;)
Reply:Yes I have!! I hate it when people say that men should lead but some women like that!! I took the wheel and everything worked out!!
Reply:I don%26#039;t want the points...obviously I am a man...however I married the woman who pursued me (Very happy still too). We were friends for a few years first though...It can happen!!!!!!
Reply:ok here%26#039;s my take on 2007

this is the age of give and take,,,,take it or leave it

we all have soooo many choices and are prompted by the era to go after our needs and push toward our goals.

my personal preference is that should i chase it needs to be returned at some point.

like ping pong, lol

i like the thrill of a chase and the thrill of being chased

some call it playing games

i call it flirting fun!!
Reply:I never pursued a man before but I do flirt with a man if I am interested. It%26#039;s just not me to make the first move even though some have said they are intimidated by me. If I sense that a man is shy then I will flirt with him until he is comfortable with me. I don%26#039;t over do it or anything, just let him know that he holds my interest without directly saying. I like when he asks me out this way I know that the feeling is mutual. I wouldn%26#039;t consider myself a wallflower, I guess I am not that assertive or maybe I like to be the one pursued.
Reply:i will NEVER pursue a man. I%26#039;m engaged to my fiance because HE pursued me. that%26#039;s how it%26#039;s supposed to be. my daddy told me to NEVER run after a man and if he is interested he will approach me....it%26#039;s called chivalry. chivalry has nothing to do with domination...it%26#039;s about respect.
Reply:The answer to your question is yes. I liked this guy once. I used to date his friend and always thought he was cute and had a great personality. Well after me and his friend broke up, we kinda connected one night. He kissed me and I knew I had to make him mine. He did come to my house one night, said he would call, but never did. I called him a few times, showed up at the bar where he hung out a few times, and then finally I wrote him a letter, telling him how I felt and I needed to know how he felt. Well, I guess the letter finally got his attention because he finally called me and to end the story, we are married 20 years in October. Life is too short to wait around for things to come to you...you have to go out and grab the bull by the horns!
