I am moving into a house in a few weeks and the kitchen is very very small. The cabinets right now are painted white but have these awful flower stencils on them. I want to repaint the cupboards to cover up the stencils but I Don't want to be as bright as the white is. Any ideas what I can do to make it look more cozy but not super small. Right now one of the walls is a little darker then mint green. I'm thinking of doing a light caramel color on that wall.

try going to lowes.com. They have a virtual painter you can use to paint sample rooms (kitchens) with hundreds of colors. You can even paint the cabinets %26amp; see what it'll look like. When you start painting, you'll know exactly how your kitchen will look when you're done.
Reply:once you pick your basic color go one shade lighter on the same swatch. As for the cab. be sure to remove the doors at least and paint them on a flat surface. buy the paint and use the same style brush as they recommend don't skimp on the brush or the paint. spray them if you can. Brush stokes will stay forever and hold finger prints and are a pain to keep clean. spend 5X the amount of time on the cabs. you only want to do this job once. as for the walls there easy to paint and a small space only takes time. Use a primer that will cover oil paints if your not sure what the old paint is. Sherwin Williams pro blocker is the best I have ever used. Always wash all surfaces with TSP and be sure to wash again with just water. you'll find TSp @ Sherwin Williams
Reply:Sounds pretty, but remember the darker you go, the smaller the room will appear. Go over the cabinets with TSP first to clean them. Then prime first. You might consider using a gloss enamel; more durable.

Her pace was music,
Her scent was freshly ground flowers
Her eyes were freshly ground coffee.
She asked me what I did,
I told her I was also an artist
But my drawings were in words
So she smiled and drew a picture of me
And I promised I would do the same,
In ink.
I could tell she loved the wind
Because she came and went with it
And like it left a cool hollow feeling behind
She gave strokes to my lines for sometime
And I had grown fond of her
With her touch!who wouldn’t.
Petal fingers-I used to call them
She said she would come back
And so I still wait for her.
Like writings on the seashore,
Days fade away.

I am afraid to love but I am so in love you, my fear keeps me from truly giving my all...... so I hold up a guard, not expressing my all..only to melt in your arms.....my physical gives in cause it sees no reason not to.....yet my safe guard comforts me so i keep it up.... which only hinders our growth...however, day in and day out, it is you that I need, want and desire. It is you who truly shares this state of consciousness. I see paradise, the after life with you and I am 100% content with you....... giving myself completely..... wth no doubt that you are truly the one, or, if this is right, or meant to be.
But for now......this world is so scary..I don't want to be lonely.......and people always seem to let us down..so I won't share my deep need for you cuz it might just scare you away. say you and your loved one break up for about 3 weeks, then you tell your shared friends that you are moving on. Then you find out from one of your friends that he has been asking about you every week, and that he has put on weight and isnt himself. Then out of the blue he calls you and needs to talk. Now yall are seeing eachother again(you talk about 3 times a week and see eachother about 2 times week, yall do everything you did before and you are soo happy when your with eachother) then you find out he still has all of your love letter/lil notes and the first flower you ever gave him,plus his momma still has your pic. on her wall. I want to know what you all think about these situations that happen to me. I gave this girl flowers last year, and I ask her out a few weeks later. Well she told me that she only so me as a friend and I told her that I was find with only been her friend. We talk throw Myspace all summer long sending messenger to each others. So when the school year started I was under the impression that we where ok. I didn’t see here all this semester because are college is really big so running in to each other is pretty hard. So I send her a messenger throw myspace like before, but it was not like before any more. She didn’t answer the first one, and I didn’t think anything of it. Then she didn’t answer the next 3 then I was like what is going on. Now it is the end of the semester and she still has not answered any of my messengers that I send her. But what really takes the cake is that her ex-boyfriend cheated on her last year and gets what she dos when he writes on her wall. She responds every time. Now for all of you that say that it is only myspace. Think about this, if it is only myspace then what is the problem with writing is. If your only way to talk to a friend is throw myspace are you telling me that you will choice not to communicate with him? I don’t what to talk bad about girls but look at me. I gave a girl flower, a teddy bear and told her that I was find been only her friend and I get ignored and her ex cheats on her and gets to be a good friend of hers. Now how wrong is thins?

Going for a modern fun teen room::Any decorating ideas?
My family just moved into a new house, and i REALLY want to do something with my room. i love all that artsy,abstract modern stuff [for lack of a better word XP]
in my room i was looking for something with bright colors. this is what i have so far::
my room is a refurbished attic, so the ceilings like start to go into a triangle, but then stop and go flat[ like that but flipped over lol] ---%26gt;%26gt; \______/
i have painted the walls white, and i want to bring in color through the decor. i have these white shelves on the wall, like those box shelves. on the shelves i put all these brightly colored vases and things. my furniture it sort of an orange colored wood, and my bedspread is white with this big pink, orange, yellow, and red flower. the colors i have so far in my room are pink,white,greeb,red,orange,yellow and blue. my carpet is also like a tanish color.
so any ideas?
